Covid-19 pandemic has boosted cutting-edge research and innovation, reaching a record investment for companies in the BioRegion
One in four people in the world have a psychiatric or neurological condition. The course Brain Health for Life. Preventing Brain-Related Disability, promoted by EIT Health and organized by Biocat, the ”la Caixa” Foundation and Institut Guttmann, raised awareness of the latest studies on brain health with some of the top researchers in the world.
An online event on December 9 (“Sweden and Catalonia: minds and talent at work: the answer is in innovation and science”), organized jointly by the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to Nordic Countries and Biocat, captured the power of these two ecosystems and discussed new trends and work methods that have come out of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over 20 companies and a hundred research centers have taken part in the event.
